CMM Chapter 0701 (Joplin, Mo.) is a tight family of like minded brothers and sisters, striving towards the same goal of serving our community in a way that is pleasing to God.

We find joy in being available to serve one another as well as various others throughout our community.

We live to be called upon by the biker community to do Biker Blessings, Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms, Hospital visits, Prayer and laying on of hands for healing and Christian Counsel. Many motorcycle clubs nationwide count on Covenant Motorcycle Ministry members to be what we say we are; hardcore Christians and hardcore bikers.

Having received Jesus Christ as my Savior, and desiring to become a full member of Covenant Motorcycle Ministry, I solemnly enter into covenant with my Covenant Motorcycle Ministry brothers and sisters and commit as a Christian to:

Place God Almighty, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit first in all aspects of my life and to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in everything.

Believe, abide by and be obedient to the Word of God in its entirety, without question, doubt or compromise.

Become fully trained, striving to be perfect as the Father, and led by the Holy Spirit.

Luke 6:40

40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

Matthew 5:48

48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Romans 8:14

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

Become ONE IN THE SON as stated in the book of John.

John 17:20-26

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—
23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.
26 I have made you[a] known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

Walk together in brotherly love, encouraging, counseling, and admonishing one another, sharing one another's joys and endeavoring to bear one another's burdens and sorrows.

Submit to and honor the five-fold ministry, to become equipped for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ,  supporting the local church and assembling faithfully for worship, fellowship, and instruction from the Word of God.

Seek, by Christian example, faithful stewardship and personal effort, to lead others to Christ and to encourage their growth toward Christian maturity.

Be accepting of the Charismatic understanding of the Word of God, which holds that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, gifts of the Spirit , and the five-fold ministry are in operation today.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11

1 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.
2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.
3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.
5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,
10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Ephesians 4:11-13

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,
12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Operate in the fruit of the Spirit, and in the gifts of the Spirit for the common good as they are distributed to each one individually as He wills.

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11
